The MailSlurp alternative without an inbox per test.
Point your app's SMTP at one Mailloop sandbox and every email it sends lands there, whoever it was for. Your tests wait for the message instead of creating inboxes and wiring addresses through the app.
- No credit card needed
- EU-hosted

How the test changes
One SMTP host, not an inbox per test
MailSlurp's usual pattern creates an inbox in the test and makes the app send to its address. With Mailloop the app keeps its real recipients: point SMTP at the sandbox once per environment and wait for the email in the test. Admin notifications, receipts and imports are captured too, without changing who they go to.
Waiting for the signup email with Mailloop
import { MailloopClient } from '@mailloop/sdk';
const client = new MailloopClient({
apiKey: process.env.MAILLOOP_API_KEY,
});
// The app already sends to the staging sandbox over SMTP.
await signUp('[email protected]');
const email = await client.emails.waitFor(sandboxId, {
to: '[email protected]',
timeout: 30_000,
}); Waiting for the signup email with MailSlurp
const MailSlurp = require('mailslurp-client').default;
const mailslurp = new MailSlurp({ apiKey: process.env.API_KEY });
// A new inbox per test, and the app has to send to it.
const inbox = await mailslurp.createInbox();
await signUp(inbox.emailAddress);
const email = await mailslurp.waitForLatestEmail(inbox.id, 30000); What it costs at your volume
The cheapest plan on each side that receives the volume, on monthly billing. MailSlurp's plans above Pro add users, not emails; Mailloop goes to 50,000 emails a month before Enterprise.
